Caimancito Hot Springs, flowing naturaIly from the earth at a temperature of 60°C, these springs of hot water loaded with minerals come to you with all the benefIts of mother nature, in an atmosphere of sub-tropícal splendor, surrounded by the smells of the jungle and colors and song of many specíes of birds.

Our services:

Three pools of different size and temperature permit you to enjoy the benefit of these waters if you are passing by and want to stop over for a few hours or camp on the grounds for a moderate fee. If you want to stay over we also offer a small hotel, with thermal baths in every bathroom and a restaurant where you can eat simple and healthy meals in a relaxed, informal, family atmosphere.

You can also enjoy the benefits of thermal mud-baths, surrounded by the jungle and the sound of running water.

The location is ideal as a starting-point for visiting our "YUNGA", subtropical mountain jungle, which is being preserved in the region in National Parks and protected areas.

If you like to swim one of our pools is 25m. long and is maintained at an adequate temperature for swimming.

A BITOF HISTORY...

These springs were known by the native population who used to come here when sick, trekking through the jungle. Once the road was opened, many people started to visit these springs for their healing properties, though there were no services, and the visitors bathed as they could.

In 1997, we began as a family to live and develop the place, building first a campsite, and then starting with a small hotel.

The big pool is the latest addition to the place and it was built because our sons, Alex and Roberty, having learned to swim in this water, are now champion swimmers on a national level, with around 100 medals each after a year and a half of competitions, so it seems that hot springs are not only beneficial for taking away aches and pains, but also for developing strength and endurance for sports.

HOW TO REACH...

From San Salvador de Jujuy or Salta in the North west of Argentina, or their airports, we can be reached by car with an easy 2 hour drive by good paved roads.
